notes from the country 2
i am thinking about the fly and eating cheese and crackers as 'brief encounter' begins on film four. i must have seen it about a dozen times and as the sad music swells, i wonder how many times i need to see it to not find it sad anymore. as i consider this, my throat tightens and tears spill on to my crackers, making them immediately soggy.
